Planning on watching the fireworks at Butler Lake?

Come early this year to hear live music performed by the Village Band. The performance will begin at 7:30 pm and last until dusk. Bring lawn chairs or blankets. Bring family and friends. Sit back and enjoy the weather, music, and the fact it’s Friday night. Let the patriotic tunes get you in the mood for the pinnacle of every 4th of July - fireworks.

The 2008 Gardeners of Central Lake County Garden Walk is just around the corner. This event, that just keeps growing, will be held Saturday, June 21st from 10am-3pm. This year’s walk features five beautiful gardens throughout Libertyville and Mundelein. Don’t forget to add your input! Vote for your favorite garden to help determine which one will get a plaque awarded from the Gardener’s of Central Lake County.

Located on Church Street between Milwaukee and Brainerd, admire cars from all decades, inside and out - for free. If you have a car you’re proud of, old or new, come and show her off. Just be ready to answer questions in the nature of “how fast does she go?”.
