We’ve done a little research to bring you the top 5 restaurants in Evanston, all within a few miles of Grand Bend at Green Bay. Each of the restaurants on our list is different in terms of type of food, price, and atmosphere, but do have one thing in common — they serve the best food in town!

This fine-dining establishment serves exquisite French Seafood prepared with seasonal and local ingredients. The dishes are delicately prepared, appealing as much to the eye as they are to the stomach. You will be serviced by an expert wait staff who are are more than happy to knowledgeably recommend dishes and wines to your taste. Being that your bill will be a bit more expensive, you might want to save this experience for a special occasion.

Steppin’ Out Into Evanston: Where to Go, What to Do and Where to Dine

No, Godzilla is not ravishing downtown Evanston. But a visit to Lulus Dim Sum and Then Sum will find Godzilla toys galore for kids to play with. OK, adults too.The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel recently featured an article on getting away to Evanston for a day of fun and excitement. While visiting Evanston is great for anyone who doesn’t live there, even residents — especially of our newest development, Grand Bend at Green Bay — should definitely step out and see what their community offers.

While home to Northwestern University, Evanston also presents great views of Chicago’s beautiful skyline (FYI, the views from Grand Bend at Green Bay’s ginormous patios and terraces are stunning, no matter what time of the year).

Looking for something to do on a blustery autumn day in Evanston? Two little known cultural attractions beckon you to come out and make Evanston your own. For residents of Grand Bend at Green Bay, here’s yet another reason why Evanston is a great city to live in.

The Mary and Leigh Block Museum of Art
Located at Northwestern University, this fine art museum features several exhibitions each year, including two current displays, A Letter From Japan: The Photographs of John Swope, and Holocaust and History in the Art of Samuel Bak. Coming up in mid-January 2009 are the polaroids of Mapplethorpe — certainly an exhibit not to be missed.
